About
The worlds coral reefs are in crisis, so we provide practical applied science solutions to understanding, managing and recovering coral reefs and the ecosystems around them. No team other team has more experience designing, implementing, and launching large-scale impactful coral reef projects.

We provide customized solutions for asessing, managing, and recovering coral reefs & the marine environment. Our services include restoration planning and implementation, natural resource damage assessment and restoration, and marine operations management. Our team is privileged to have worked on and provided solutions to some of the largest and most impactful projects in our sector globally.
We are proud multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team with global reach that brings together experts in regional restoration planning, site-specific assessment, regulatory compliance, implementation master planning, and on-the-reef restoration. We work with governments, universities, tourism officials, marine protected area managers, and the private sector looking to find practical solutions to understanding, managing and recovering coral reefs and the ecosystems around them.
Meet Our Leadership
Global Coral Solutions is led by a team with decades of experince in the field of coral reef management and restoration. While many are new to the field, we privledged to have been part of the conversation since the beginning. That means we have experience, connections, and knowledge to keep your project one step ahead.

Tom Moore
Global Coral Solutions is led by Tom Moore. Tom firmly believes that connecting to people and developing personal relationships is the best way to lead teams and affect global change. Tom’s most recent engagement was working with KAUST to lead the launch of the world's largest coral reef restoration project in the northern Red Sea. Prior to moving into the private sector Tom spent over 20 years at NOAA working on the cutting edge of tropical marine ecosystem conservation and restoration, merging science and policy to address many global and regional threats. He developed, launched, and led Mission: Iconic Reefs, a comprehensive coral restoration effort in the Florida Keys.
Tom is also an expert in Natural Resouce Damage Assessment and Restoration in the aftermath or Oil Spills, Ship Groundings, and Hazardous Waste Sites. He has managed the emergency response, damage assessment, and restoration over 100 vessel groundings, lead the largest coral reef emergency restoration effort to date, and developed a widely used method to scale coral reef injuries and restoration. Tom served as NOAA’s on-scene NRDA Lead for the Deewater Horizon Oil Spill, lead the post-spill $1B early restoration effort, and served as the agency subject matter lead for ecological scaling that lead to the largest ever civil case in United States history.
While Tom has had the opportunity to lead and consult on some of the world's most significant coral reef restoration efforts, he feels strongly that the smaller efforts that got us to where we are today are just as important. He founded and is a member of the Board of DIrectors of the international Coral Restoration Consortium and the is the Executive Director of Reef Futures: A Global Coral Restoration and Invention Science Conference.
